Gabi Waters

Hi, I am Gabi Waters. I am the President for the SWE Tri-Cities Chapter. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a  Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering.

I started at Eastman in July of 2021 as a process improvement engineer in the Cellulose Esters Department. In October of 2022, I became a staff engineer in the area, and that is where I reside now.

SWE was a critical part of my college experience. I found a safe community to share with incredible and inspiring women. I was president while in school and attended 2 conferences. The whole experience was a huge part of why I am where I am today.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading, petting cats, drinking coffee, music, thrifting, hiking, skiing, and volleyball.
